A: The easiest way to get started is to go to
www.lushcreations.com and download the transmogrifier. You will also find a tutorial there to get you started.
Q: How do I put houses that I've downloaded into my Sims game?
A: Extract the zip to C:\Program Files\Maxis\The Sims\UserData\Houses(Personally, I extract the zip to my desktop, then drag & drop the iff into the Houses file, but that's just me). This is neighborhood 1. If you have expansion pack(s) installed, then "UserData" in the path will have a number behind it.
Example: At the moment, I have Hot Date installed. My path looks like this:
C:\Program Files\Maxis\The Sims\UserData6\Houses.
NOTE: The downloaded file will overwrite the iff file for that lot. Be sure to save the existing house on that lot if you don't want to lose it!
